Deep Carpet Cleaning Costs—and Why It’s Worth Every Penny

Woman looking over carpet cleaning offers and prices

Let’s be honest. The first question we all ask when faced with any home service isn’t about features or benefits. It’s: “How much is this going to cost me?”

When you’re comparing professional carpet cleaning companies, price is just part of the deal. Here’s the thing: they don’t all clean the same, and they don’t all charge the same.

You’re not just buying a service. You’re buying 75 years of cleaning expertise that’s seen every type of carpet out there. You’re buying peace of mind, help with allergy flare-ups and the ability to let the baby crawl around without cringing.

So how much will it cost? That depends on a few things:

  • How big your rooms are

  • What kind of rooms they are

  • Which cleaning method is used

  • Whether you want any smart add-ons

Want to see a number? Our booking tool provides free estimates with no strings attached. For more general price know-how, keep reading for a breakdown of the numbers, so you know what to expect and why it's worth it. P.S. if you sign up for our emails, we’ve been known to offer a deal or two.

What You’ll Pay Per Room

Let’s call it like it is: not all rooms are created equal.

  • Standard rooms (bedrooms, living rooms, etc.) are usually priced by size. We typically define a “standard room” as anything up to 300 sq. ft.

  • Smaller spaces like hallways, stairs and laundry rooms are priced separately.

Each company draws its own pricing lines. The good ones (hi, that’s us) keep it simple and transparent.

The Cleaning Method Matters for Price

Icons of Carpet Cleaning Methods

Yes, the method matters. Not all carpet cleaning techniques are created equal, and that’ll affect the cost of your cleaning. But a higher price doesn’t automatically mean that method isn’t worth it. In fact, it can be quite the opposite.

Here’s what you need to know.

The Method We Use to Clean Carpet:

  • Hot water extraction: This is our gold standard and exclusive method for your home. It deep-cleans without soaking your carpet, removes 94% of household allergens and leaves no residue behind. Our proprietary system is like a mini wellness retreat for your carpet.

Other Carpet Cleaning Methods:

  • Carpet shampooing: Think soap-scrub-vacuum. Can work, but it often leaves residue that attracts new dirt like a magnet.

  • Dry carpet cleaning: Uses chemicals. Dries fast. Doesn’t get deep. May leave powdery evidence behind.

  • Encapsulation: Fast-drying and surface-level. Good for light refreshes, not life messes.

We only offer hot water extraction cleaning in homes because, simply put: we think it’s the only one worth your time.

Why DIY Might Not Save You

You can rent a machine and do it yourself. But unless your idea of self-care involves sweating through three passes with a half-functioning rental vacuum, here’s why we gently suggest skipping it:

  • You have to guess which method is best for your carpet.

  • Rental machines = weaker suction and mystery grime from the last renter’s home.

  • Stains often reappear. Odors linger. You’re doing more work for less clean.

  • Worst case: You damage your carpet trying to save money on it.

DIY is admirable, but it just can’t get to the deep-down dirt.

Why Our Hot Water Extraction Is Worth Every Cent

Here’s what makes our process different and better:

  • Hot water (110–165°F) gets deep into the carpet to lift dirt, allergens and whatever mystery grime has taken up residence.

  • Immediate extraction means we pull up the water (and the mess) in one go. That means quicker drying for you!

  • Safe solutions without harsh ingredients = no worries about pets, kids or bare feet.

  • Proven results: On average, we remove 94% of common allergens, and we’re platinum-rated by the Carpet and Rug Institute.

It takes a few hours to dry, yes. But you’re trading a couple hours of damp for a full reset of your home’s clean.

Optional Add-Ons That Actually Matter

Let’s talk upgrades. These are the smart extras that help your clean last longer and smell fresher:

  • Carpet Protectant: Repels future spills, so you don’t have to panic when the juice box goes flying.

  • Deodorizer: Eliminates smells at the source. We’re talking deep odor erasure, not a floral cover-up.

And here’s what we don’t charge extra for:

  • Moving furniture (within reason, we won’t be lifting your baby grand piano or your grandmother’s China cabinet)

  • Environmental or disposal fees (you’d be surprised how common those are elsewhere)

Ready to Refresh Your Carpet?

Allergens. Odors. Grime that refuses to budge. And that one spot that’s been quietly mocking you for months.

Let us take it off your plate while you sit down and relax because your time, your sanity and your space are worth it.
